New! Fax Service Available. Outgoing and Incoming Faxes – $1.00 per page.
Free WiFi. Access the Internet using our free WiFi. No password required. Limited outlet availability to plug in your equipment.
Use the Computers. The library has 18 public computers with 12 of them connected to printers. Printing from the computers costs 15 cents per page. Use the computers to search for books in the library network’s online catalog, use the Internet, or software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The library sells 3 1/2 inch floppies for $1.00 and writeable CDROM discs for $2.00.
Photocopies. There are two coin-operated photocopiers, one on each level of the library. Copies cost .15 per page. Takes dollar bills and coins. 8 1/2 x 11 and 8 1/2 x 14 black and white copies. Reduces and Enlarges.
Book a Meeting Room. The Elsie Haskell Auditorium is available for nonprofit groups to meet. Meetings can extend past the 8 pm closing time of the library.
Self-Service Holds Pickup and 1 Self-Checkout Station. On the main level of Southworth, pick up your own holds and check your own materials out at the self-checkout station near the Circulation Desk.
Electric Typewriter. Smith Corona with a built-in correction tape located in the Reference Area. Please bring your own paper.
Optelec Magnifier. A remarkable device that can magnify any kind of text. Books, magazines, envelopes, can all be enlarged to a size that works for your vision. It is located in the Reference Area. The Optelec ClearView was a gift to the Library in memory of Jens Wilhelmsen.
Microfilm Reader. Located in the Reference Area, this is a film reader, but does not print. Please speak to the staff, if you require copies.
Play Area and Puppet Theater. Located in the Children’s Storytime Room on the Lower Level.
