The Southworth Library has a special collection of books called SummerRead with many of the classic titles often used in the schools for students to read during their summer vacation. We try to buy multiple copies of the titles on local Dartmouth Summer Reading Lists.
This summer the Dartmouth High School is taking part in a “One School, One Book” initiative as part of a grant received by the schools. This summer all high school students are reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. The Dartmouth Public Libraries own 17 copies of the book to ensure you don’t have to wait too long to get a copy of it.
