Retirement

Presented by John Aanensen
7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2009
Southworth Library, 732 Dartmouth Street, Dartmouth, MA  02748
Investment decisions are 89% based on emotion according to Kathleen Gurney, PhD., of the Financial Psychology Corporation.  Dr. Gurney also has determined that only 20% of the population feels comfortable with higher levels of investment risk.

Whether up or down, the market is always on the move.  How will you react to changing market conditions and what effects could your actions have on your financial plan?  Many people have questions about their investment strategy, yet they never find the time to get them answered.

This free, informational program will discuss how emotions affect investment decisions, general market expectations for three types of investors, lessons from the last 75 years of U.S. economic history, and investment tools and strategies to help fine-tune your financial plan.
