Did you know that the November 4th Presidential Election in Massachusetts will include ballot questions asking voters to decide about repealing state personal income tax, decriminalizing possession of an ounce or less of marijuana and whether or not to end professional dog racing?

We will also hold a Ballot Question Forum on October 28th, 7:00 p.m. at the Southworth Library featuring Carla Howell of the Commitee for Small Government, Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter; Whitney Taylor, Chair of the Committee for Sensible Marijuana Policy and Richard Drolet from the Coalition for Social Justice.
Dartmouth photographer Joan-Marie Proulx will grace the library with her local landscape photography during the month of September. Come and see the Southcoast area from her perspective. A reception will be held on Tuesday, September 9, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Her photographs have recently been on display at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library in Bourne, MA. as well as the Foxboro Library, the Medway Library and the St. Anne’s Credit Union in Somerset, MA.
