nuary 26th the 20/30 Somethings Book Group will have their monthly meeting at 6:30PM. We will be talking about “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society” by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows. This recent addition to the library is geared toward readers in their 20′s & 30′s. The group meets once a month, on the last Thursday of the month, to discuss the current selection & enjoy snacks. If you are interested please feel free to come by even if you haven’t read this month’s selection – come check us out & pick up the book for February!
Google+ is the latest social media sharing site and libraries are among the pages that are joining in now that it is opened up to businesses, organizations and websites.
Dartmouth Public Libraries are now a page on Google+
If you like to use this new social media, add us to your circle and we can share news, pictures and video. If the idea of a new form of social networking (which is in many ways different than Facebook) seems overwhelming, read tips on the world of G+ at the Geek.mom blog.
Southworth Library will close at 12:30 on Friday, December 30, and will be closed on Saturday, December 31. Both Southworth Library and the North Dartmouth Library will be closed on Monday, January 2.
